Re: who has the Sprint insurance?
Very worth it. Water damage, physical damage. You will not have to pay. Full price of the phone. If you even calculate $7 a month for 2 years its still cheaper than the full price of the phone if something is to happen.

Re: who has the Sprint insurance?
YES! I have insurance, and in my opinion it is a necessity for high end devices...you never know what can happen

Re: who has the Sprint insurance?
I've been holding off too, but will probably sign up this weekend. My reasons for holding off... $100 deductible if you need a replacement phone. That seems way too high. Second reason is that as a "Premier" customer I can do a full upgrade every 12 months, so is it worth paying for insurance? Can anyone comment as to how services are handled that don't require a replacement phone? No deductible for cracked screen? What about a cracked case?
Anyway, obviously I'm leaning towards the latter and adding insurance to my phone soon, but... it bothers me.

Re: who has the Sprint insurance?
bb insurance is good but if you need them to check out your phone you have to take it in and they send it off to get checked out which takes about two weeks and they give you a loaner phone for that time period it is gone. Also i dont think it covers water damage. Sprint temp is 7 dollars but its 3 for service in the store and 4 for asurion which covers lost, water and crack screen damage. You dont have to get both. If your lucky and you can get a rep to add the 4 dollar temp which is 3(service) + 1 (asuron)= 4 total then its worth it. Dont know if this is still in the system but those that have it still save 3 dollars.

Re: who has the Sprint insurance?
don't do it, it's a joke. all they're really doing is charging you more just to honor the manufactures' warranty.
