But if you're on a google account you should have all your contacts backed up on gmail anyway.
i think they're wondering about saving and running apps for them memory card thus leaving device memory free, like what Windows Mobile does, install to memory card
although Astro is extremely handy for what it does

Re: HTC Hero questions

My dash mount was holding on the volume down key while I powered the phone on and I got a weird screen. Try it out, not sure what it is.

I haven't tried it yet, but i believe it's built in. Hold down the phone button and speak your command.

There are lists of commands in the manual of what you can say.

Re: HTC Hero questions

Out of nowhere, my screen can be turned on by pressing the menu button. Once the screen is on, pressing menu again will unlock the screen lock. This is a PITA. How can I fix this?

that's actually by design. It's in the manual.

Re: HTC Hero questions

I was just curious, is there anything like Remote Desktop available for the Hero?

Thanks in advance!

Re: HTC Hero questions

Anyone watch good quality mp4 video podcasts? If so, could you tell me if the Hero has any lagging or ghosting issues?

Thanks
