Just got it... it rocks.

One thing though for other Hero users, do you find it switching to landscape mode a bit sluggish or unreliable?

Other than that the thing is flying with me

Well, I could have gone with the Everything Plus but does not make sense to me since I can get the price down with the employer discount to about what I have now. Sprint will not allow employer discounts on the Everything Plus. I see thats what you want to do too.

I had the 10% loyalty discount with SERO so it transferred over. I was not supposed to get it but back in the day it was being given out like candy.

I don't have an employer discount since it was very hard to get it with SERO, but am looking for one now.

FIMF is "first incoming minute free". I also had that one with my SERO account, so still have it now with the everything data 450 plan.

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!

I calibrated my g-sensor, so that may have helped me. I think it goes down to angle of the phone. If you have your phone flat, like on a desk, and rotate it, it won't do anything. I have to tilt the phone up to get it to change. It may just be the angle of view that is causing the phone to not recognize the orientation needs to be changed.

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!

i played with this phone for a while today at best buy. The phone is the perfect size, if it had the touch pro 2 keyboard is would be perfect. But besides that, the interface is beautiful, and the colors are bright and vibrant. but for some reason, i just didnt like it. There is something about it that just doesn't seem right, i dont know what. The onscreen keyboard in landscape was awesome. Other than that, its a good phone, just not my taste.

I just got home time to seriously dive in. The Best Buy Hero didn't come with a case, headphones or a case. Probably so they could see add on's.

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!

I don't post here often, I just lurk around and read ALL the time.. I thought I'd let you guys know that I JUST got my Hero, and kept my SERO plan. I pre-ordered the phone(obviously), and picked it up early with the Best Buy rewards program.

When the guy went to activate it, he said it gave him an error and that it required a plan change. I told him that Sprint CS told me I could keep my plan, so he called customer care himself. Whoever he talked to gave him the okay to let me keep my plan. If it is showing on my Sprint account already, I can post a screen shot showing it really did work. Just wanted to share my excitement with you guys!! I was seriously considering not getting this because of not wanting my bill to double.
