Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
You know, Im on the original SERO and am thinking of getting off. If they make me switch plans to Everything Plus data to get the Hero, Ill be better off with the non-plus plan since Ill be able to get employee discounts, credit union, etc.
I just hope they don't make me change telephone numbers.

No, you cannot add a corporate discount to an Everything Plus Referral Plan.

I always wondered if they named it the Hero, because it's heroically saving us from buying another WM phone (well until wm7)
I also wonder if android is going to turn out like that time I installed ubuntu thinking it was the answer to all my dreams. < Not bashing ubuntu just was not for me.> |

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
I have a feeling the difference between WinMo & Android is not going to be quite the same as the difference between Windows & Linux. To be honest, WinMo by itself kind of, well totally, sucks. The browser sucks, the user interface sucks, etc etc. It takes a third party vendor to put some sort of visual shell on top of MinMo to make it worth anything. Now 4 years ago the standard WinMo home screen, menus, etc were fine, but now it just seems totally archaic.

WebKit is amazing. Only thing about the iPhone I'm jealous of. I hear that androids browser is very similar. |
