I just don't understand, why does BB charg higher retail than the Sprint website/stores? Although, their in store price, in a renewal or new line seem to be cheaper on a lot of phones than the Sprint website/stores.

I also hope he's right. Lol That would make me very happy. So basically a $15/month Data Pack would be sufficient?

Omg people, it's not $599. Best Buy can price match with Sprint's price which is $429 and I think you still get the $100 MIR since you will be upgrading.

That is how I took the conversation based on what he said but then i called telesales and they had no clue about the phone let alone a plan.

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't it need to be in print? Might be different for phones. But I imagine best buy would be price matching New Egg all day long.. I also think the $599 price is to prevent people from stocking up on phones and putting them on ebay.

Yeah, everyone has different answers since the plans haven't been announced yet and I guess not everyone has been informed. I'll be hoping that it won't require an Everything Plan though. We should probably know by next week.

I think it does, I'm not quite sure but you can call them and ask. Some people have called and said they could price match as long as they like showed it to them. I mean how are they selling it for $180? They are not discounting it off $599.

I sure hope they price match. I'll definitely be trying it out. But I think it might all depend on the manager you get.

I heard from someone that a BB manager said that they should be releasing the Hero a couple weeks earlier than Sprints actual date. So I wouldn't be surprised if Best Buy would have these out very soon. Most likely trying to release them before Cellular South.
