I can't recall a time in the last 10 years where a HTC Sprint rom was ever leaked beforehand, really...

Weren't the Verizon and Sprint TP2 roms (not final) leaked before the release of their TP2s? I thought ConFlipper had a thread where you could get them.

way before. i had touch flow 2 on my diamond like four months before the tp2 came out.

The TP2s were running roms built from other CDMA carriers such as the 6.5 rom from US Cellular and from Microsoft build leaks

We're past mid-March and rapidly approaching the early Q2 launch estimates for the Android 2.1 update for HTC's Hero. Now Engadget Chinese has tipped us to an official HTC release date issued on Plurk (a very popular, local Twitter-like social service) in HTC's home country of Taiwan: April 26th. So we should see the update go hot globally, with the latest version of the Sense UI in tow, at about the same time. You know, if you haven't grown tired of waiting and already hacked it in.

What u cant wait another month,lol I sure can.. I mean my hero does everything its should need to do.. sure the evo is one heck of a android phone.. but in reality.. wont be looking at it til at least the end of the year.. So im gonna enjoy my hero til then.. As im sure a few other hero users with common sense will be doing also..

Think bout it for a min...Why are u gonna take back your hero? is it cause of the extra month for the 2.1 update.. or U just really want the evo?

If u want the evo u shouldnt have even bought the hero..lol but to buy it and complain to that the update is to far away for u..well then i guess u should have done your homework.lol

My advice take your hero back.. and wait for the evo.. so u will have something else to complain bout..lol

I wouldn't hold my breath for the EVO to be out on June 6th. Sprint never gets the dates right. Hell, look at the 2.1 update. Better off keeping the Hero & then selling it when the EVO comes onboard.

Im sorry if it seemed like i attacked ya.. no harm intended.. just get tired of reading posts,, downing the hero.. or damn this update is taking to long.lol just sit back and enjoy.. the hero is a awesome phone... enjoy it.. the evo is nice. but its gonna be a hard phone to get when released.. and prolly will be out of stock for a few months.lol thats why im gonna wait tile the end of the year.. less hassle.. and get to enjoy the hero..til then..
