doesn't appear this is the "final" build but i think were getting close. id say by the 21st we should have it. :help:

it still has some issues but damn is the stock rom fast, no lag.

I Just installed the leak.. and i heard that sprint got their just as it was leaked!!! I think its final!

I don't go to bars so it doesn't matter to what time they close
The Hero will get official 2.1 soon I'm sure, as I said before I'm really surprised the Moment got it first..

I was surprised too. I think sense might have something to do with that. Probably why it's taking a little longer.

Amen on that one.. ive been with them a long time.. when it cones to updates they take way to long.. they shoukd be the first with everything.

I'm sorry for the wall of text.

I personally would rather wait for a great update, like what the Moment got instead of anything rushed. Sprint is still in their original time frame of first half of 2010. They just want to make sure the update they delivery is what it should be and as flawless as possible.

Also, just remember today all of these "leaked" release dates are unofficial. I know because I'm a tech at Sprint and there has not been an official date given. Until Sprint says it's getting released, then it's just another internet rumor.

Also, remember how bad the Blackberry Storm was at launch? It needed 3 updates in 2 weeks because it wasn't properly tested before it was released. Also, wasn't they as problem with the Droid with 2.0 and they had to release 2.0.1 to fix it? I could be wrong about the Droid thing, but I remember something about a software issue with those.

My point is that I'll gladly wait through the promised wait for the update for them to get all figured put BEFORE it's released. Now if we go into the 3rd quarter with no update, then I'll understand being upset.

Forgot to add that, while I'm waiting for the official 2.1 update, I've been running unofficial leaks on my Moment since they first showed up on the sdx site and rooted my hero and put 2.1 on it as soon as I got it. Hell, I was running the earliest 6.5 builds that were available here for my old Diamond. I like too be prepared for customer questions and issues ahead of time...and I like to tweak my stuff to work how I want it to work.
