Just make shortcuts on one of your seven screens for off and on switches for Mobile, bluetooth, GPs etc. its easy just long press on the screen you want . choose HTC Widget/Settings then press the shortcut you want on the screen.

Re: HTC Hero... Worth it?

You won't regret it. I had my share of windows phones, Apache->Treo 700WX->Mogul->Vouge->Diamond->Touch Pro->Touch Pro 2. Basically, besides the 6600, if it had windows and a sprint logo, I had it.

No matter the deice, WM has always left more to be desired. Never ending tweaking and flashing and waiting. I feel android is more refined and ready to go out of he box. The only thing I really NEEDED to root for was the WiFi tether, everything else just works

Now do you have to pay for WiFi tether or is it like the WinMo phones where they get around it?

Re: HTC Hero... Worth it?

Switched to the Hero from the Touch Pro last week.. I'll admit, i was skeptical at first but now I'm quite happy. Just as others have said Android just works. No flashing and tweaking and all that mess.. While i did Root my phone and install a custom rom, it was really for the tethering program as well as installing apps from outside the market. Unless WM7 is something REAL special, i won't be going back.

Re: HTC Hero... Worth it?

I went to TP2 for roughly 2 weeks and came crawling back lol.
I do miss better graphics and it's keyboards but Hero was a hero and I couldn't stay away from it too long.
