Re: Just got my EVO
Actually, if the TP2 can still connect to the internet you may be able to sync the contacts to gmail without going to the store. I can't remember the instructions but I will see if I can find a link for you. After they are synced from the TP2 or added to the Evo you just go to menu>settings>accounts & sync and set up the relationship there.
Here is the link: http://www.google.com/support/mobile...36&topic=14299 Last edited by subprime; 11-24-2010 at 07:16 PM. Reason: added link |

Re: Just got my EVO
The TP2 should be able to connect to the internet via wifi...
Just go to settings>wireless controls and switch off the phone option and switch on the wifi option. I've tried this at home and it works great... I'm keeping my TP2 when I upgrade...Hooking it up to some speakers in the kids room and running Slacker radion for them. p. |

Re: Just got my EVO
If you still have your tp2. Just transfer them over bluetooth. You can then export them to Google and they'll be all backed up. That's what I did and I came from a tp2. Everyone always forgets about. Bluetooth.

Dude. You got a evo? Boy, what a mistake. Have you seen the bench marks? Evo sucks badly. Hummingbird baby. Hummingbird. Even the llamas agree.

Re: Just got my EVO
I am digging hummingbird, but not the sloppy feeling Epic slider.... looks like between the two phones it is the battle of the trade-offs.

Re: Just got my EVO
I am just saying whenever I have gone to check out the Epic, the slider and the keys just feel loose, sloppy and plasticy. Coming from a TP2, it just dissapoints on that feature. The screen is really nice tho.
