OK this my take on most first shots, have Ra recovery at default, do nand backup, then while there do complete wipe. Reboot, ##786#.......

Ive tried numerous times, on a few different Roms and both recoveries.. No go for me.

I wonder if it has to do with location.

When nand backup is done ,wipe data,cache, and dalvik-cache reboot,bypass login,##786#....and if you having a problem with ##786# could have new epst apk need old one http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...8&d=1281375059

I'll repeat my steps one more time, hopefully it will help someone.....

started on my Froyo v2.1 Odexed rom w/ netarchy 4.0.3 kernel (my PPCG edition rom), I have Toasts recovery.....

-rebooted into recovery, did a backup (optional)

-booted into android, did a ##786#, reset (it reboots on its own)

-when the screen went blank, I pulled the battery (dont let it reboot)

-boot into bootloader, then recovery

-I wiped everything except sd partition

-reboot

-handsfree activation while you're crossing your fingers
