HTC 2.2 update is out. - Page 14

All,

I download the official rom via ota. When I begin the install it I get a ! With the little android guy and freezes there until I remove the battery. I am rooted via unrevoked for wireless tether. Anyone know what I can do to update? I don't care if it breaks my root.

From 3.26.651.3 to 3.26.65.6:
Radio is the same (2.15.00.07.2

WiMAX is the same (26023_R01)
Kernel is the same
HBOOT is the same (0.93)
Recovery is updated, though

the zip file posted throught the thread. d'l to your computer, put on your sd card on phone (not in any folders). rename the file to 'update.zip'

power + vol down; recovery; flash update.zip from sd card.

Oh ok *whew* not really much of a difference. LOL i was starting to think maybe HTC & Sprint were tryna **** us over.

Ditto. In the same boat. Installation fails with the ! and the little green android guy. Freezes until I pull the battery.

same here. maybe if we install a 2.1 stock itll work. freezing might be a deterrent for being on a rooted rom

I searched for firmware update and nothing came through. Then I updated Profile and Prl and then searched for firmware again and it came up! Downloading now!
