If you arent rooted you may as well hang up trying to downgrade from the leaked version of 2.2. iT wont let you do it period. Thats why I waited and flashed the rooted version instead. If you try to go back its gonna give u that error about updating an earlier version and fail. All youll be able to do now is wait on htc. This is why I make sure I maintain my root EVERYTIME an update comes out.

For those of you who aren't getting an update, reboot your phone. I wasnt getting an update before I rebooted. Tried again after I reset. Voila.

Nashville, TN - Did not install leaked ROM.

Whats the difference between the leaked version and the official one??

My EVO isnt rooted...so I'm wondering if i'll be missing out on anything

no luck reverting into old official roms. I tired them all. 2 out of 3 gave me bootloader version error and 1.47 usb error. So im still on leaked.

Can you please elaborate? What file that was downloaded to the sd card? I don't really care for maintaining my root at this point, just want to get the update.
