go to recovery from there you should have the option to flash zip from sd

OKay but did it update to.6 from .3 I understand an update is an update and not a new rom

Cant update my unrevoked3 evo...WTF
stuck on screen with exclamation mark....for 40 min now...pulled batt...and 2.1 loaded back up. how can i get around this?

Manual update said i was up to date with 2.1, so i took out the battery for 30 sec. to a min restarted the phone check the software update again and it finally found the OFFICIAL Froyo 2.2 update, started downloading really really slow, turned on WIFI and went through it in 5 min. HELL YEAAAAA!!!!!!

When you see that your suppose to press the volume up button and the power button to get to the menu.
