I followed this step by step with no problems. I flashed DC at the end and after that I flashed the new wimax and baseband radios with no problems. 4G works great and everything is working as it should. If any of you need a hand I wouldnt mind trying to help. Let me know..

Going to try that next...backing up everything from the SD card first (the zip files and img files that I am suppossed to use...so I don't have to download them again...using a different PC since I'm at work).

...when you say using the program in the phone...do you mean going into settings and unmounting it, then picking format...that is some super fast format method...is there a different way that I don't know of?

so this update basically, is using a exploit to gain root and downgrade to a previous build? and then what i lose the fixes that the latest OTA provided? im lost on that part. can i flash a rooted OEM OTA rom? they usually explain what it does, now it s all rush rush, do this do that. all i want is wireless tether. i could care less about custom roms.

the exploit helps you get root, its more off a back door then a downgrade
stock rom and rooted phone dont like each other
so thats why we use custom roms
and if you get a custom rom built from the new OTA 1.47 you get the newer radio and fixes that come with it
all custom roms ive seen have wireless tether on them

yeah im on him with this if this was windows mobile i would be with custom roms but since this is android ima take my time before i start the hardcore stuff. so for right now i just want the latest update fixes that came with the OTA and have the first part root so that i can just use wifi tether. Can someone point me in the right direction to accomplish this just have the updates and fixes and get root enough to use wifi tether and keep the stock rom please?
