Re: OTA update (1.47.651.1) has been conquered (root!)
Me too bro, I can not understand this adb shell stuff at all, my computer says adb drivers aren't installed even though I manually installed them. When I type adb shell into the cmd prompt it says it is an unrecognized command... Anyone want to help!?!?

did you go to your folder that contains the androidsdk tools folder then ctrl shift right click on the tools folder then open command window here? You have to be in that folder for it to work properly from what I understand. I always run adb shell from there. It should work. Good luck |

You don't need to know or understand adb. Just type what I tell you. In fact, I don't even use the android-sdk, I just use the evo-recovery.zip file many people already had from rooting the 1st time around.
