You're joking, right? There are rooted ROM's all over the place that allow removing the bloatware. And what do you mean about Sprint Nav, Amazon, Qik, etc., "popping up" and hogging battery life? They use some storage memory for the app, but I haven't seen any of those apps opening by themselves.
