Re: QUESTION: What happened to multiple Exchange Accounts?

I also could use multiple exchange account support. Currently using RoadSync for my second exchange account. Works great. Cheaper than Touchdown.

Re: QUESTION: What happened to multiple Exchange Accounts?

I was putting off purchasing Touchdown because I read that Froyo was going to allow for more than one Exchange Account.... well it doesn't on the stock Sprint 2.2 Rom. Is there a way to enable it?

If you download the stock android email.apk, you can create multiple "corporate" accounts using this. This will allow you to sync email from both. However, since HTC only allows one exchange account under accounts and settings, you would still only be able to fully sync (contacts/calendar) from one.

I think you might be able to add multiple exchange accounts on cyanogen's rom since it is aosp. You might want to check that out.

Changing from Live to Gmail is NOT an option, and POP3 = Crap.

Anyway for now, I do like Touchdown. It's not as integrated, but it will suffice for time being.
Did you get an answer on 2.2 having this capability.

This is still not an option is 2.2 sense issued by sprint. My post below still describes the only way to accomplish this. I have also confirmed that you can set this up both by installing the Email.apk on a sense rom, or by using Email that is included in CyanogenMod. However, in my experience, the "push" functionality for the gmail account added in this way does not seem to be true push, in fact, I don't seem to get the emails until I do a refresh despite the fact that the setting is set to "as items arrive". Not sure if this is an issue with the client or gmail. I tend to say the client because I used this technique to add my gmail through activesync on winmo and I remember the push working fine. Also, I wonder if Gmail didn't bother to make this work since they support true push through the separate Gmail app.

Re: QUESTION: What happened to multiple Exchange Accounts?

I like the EVO but many of my clients could use multiple full email accounts with seperate contacts and calendars.

Any word on this coming with Android 2.3/4?

How could I do this, if I was intending to do so?
