QUESTION: What happened to multiple Exchange Accounts?

Not really. Just dont have the phone syncing every time an email arrives. Have it set possibly to once a day or every 4 hours. If you are working in an office there is no need to have it syncing all the time.

I just confirmed that I can use multiple Exchange accounts while using a 2.2 Froyo ROM. If you wont miss the camera, it may be worth a try.

Yes, 2.2 has several exchange friendly features, including a unified inbox.

Have you tried the 2.1 method in my post above? I'm just curious about that. I am running froyo right now, but even if I nand back to 2.1 I don't have more than one exchange account...

I tried several methods when I first got the EVO, and had no luck. Im just rolling with 2.2 right now.

This was bugging me, I flashed back to 2.1 and tried my suggestion - doesn't work. It does appear that - at least the sense version of 2.1 for the EVO - does not allow multiple exchange by default. Strange.

Yeah, multiple Exchange accounts would be HUGELY beneficial to me... I was under the impression EVO had it but was sad to be mistaken. This is a huge hit in the gut to my longterm use of the EVO if 2.2 doesn't change it, because I got the EVO thinking I would be OK to use my work account and the new ActiveSync-capable Windows Live Mail account. Changing from Live to Gmail is NOT an option, and POP3 = Crap.

Anyway for now, I do like Touchdown. It's not as integrated, but it will suffice for time being.

LMAO it was and I was paid well... It was only sarcasm. Serious though hopefully we will see the EVO with multiple exchange and threaded inbox with Froyo. If it doesn't I don't know what is going on with HTC and or Sprint. ;/
