Re: QUESTION: What happened to multiple Exchange Accounts?

Yeah, multiple Exchange accounts would be HUGELY beneficial to me... I was under the impression EVO had it but was sad to be mistaken. This is a huge hit in the gut to my longterm use of the EVO if 2.2 doesn't change it, because I got the EVO thinking I would be OK to use my work account and the new ActiveSync-capable Windows Live Mail account. Changing from Live to Gmail is NOT an option, and POP3 = Crap.

Anyway for now, I do like Touchdown. It's not as integrated, but it will suffice for time being.

Did you get an answer on 2.2 having this capability.

This is still not an option is 2.2 sense issued by sprint. My post below still describes the only way to accomplish this. I have also confirmed that you can set this up both by installing the Email.apk on a sense rom, or by using Email that is included in CyanogenMod. However, in my experience, the "push" functionality for the gmail account added in this way does not seem to be true push, in fact, I don't seem to get the emails until I do a refresh despite the fact that the setting is set to "as items arrive". Not sure if this is an issue with the client or gmail. I tend to say the client because I used this technique to add my gmail through activesync on winmo and I remember the push working fine. Also, I wonder if Gmail didn't bother to make this work since they support true push through the separate Gmail app.

I think you might be able to add multiple exchange accounts on cyanogen's rom since it is aosp. You might want to check that out.
