i've still got 23 days but i'm not too sure i'll keep it that long. i don't think i'll ever get another htc phone again. i've had too many problems that i just dealt with on each of their phones i owned.

droid x is looking nice right about now.

The EVO is hands down the best phone I have ever owned. It's fast, the apps are really cool and the battery life is awesome. The only negative I have with this one is the camera picture quality. Its OK but not great, but that's why I have a digital SLR and a 1080p camcorder.

Swype ftw. Seriously. The version I had stopped working the other day and I had to use the stock keyboard again and it was brutal to say the least so I understand your issue with it. In about a day or two of using swype, I got fast with in and it is super easy on the fingers.

Oh, and in regard to the topic of the thread. I have contemplated whether or not I will return it, but in the end I am fairly certain I will keep it. The screen separation issue has not occurred for me (could be because I have a hard case that wraps the edge a bit) and the battery life has been fine for getting through a day and that is all I need. The phone itself is great and I am going to sit down and root it and try out a new rom which I hope will make the phone even more enjoyable.

Yeah I have it up and running again, don't know if I could stand a touchscreen keyboard without it anymore.

I never had an issue with my evo not do i regret picking up this bad boy, but i did go to check out the plans and what id have to commit to if i would switch carriers for an iPhone 4 and i gotts say.... no f#&king way man.... those arent plans, those are monthly robberies, i mean 2gb web max without overages?? i easily pay half on sprint with a the only current device that can go toe to toe with the iphone 4 and have a leg up in many categories, its just that people realize that and are trying to give it bad press to make the apple look better
