Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

I think the people that are complaining are the same people that send food back at restaurants. They are the ones that are never happy. Personally, I've had no issues. Over the last 2 days my Evo lasted 30+ hours without a recharge too. I'm loving it and not looking back.

Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

Do you understand the EVO has not been out for two weeks yet? Calm down there will be an update soon that fix most issues. The iphone comes out pretty soon and im sure they dont us "new customers" to leave due us having that 30 day grace period. Issue will be fix before we can return our phones.

Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

i would still get the EVO---true it has/had issues but over time they will be fixed this is by far the best phone i have ever had, i just cant see myself getting an iphone, for some reason i just love the possibilities with android and the google compamy is taking all the rooting craze and starting to bake it into new firmware builds so before long we wont even have to root our phones---personally im running a stock ROM

Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

The EVO is the best phone I've ever used. My only complaint is when the phone is on the charger the screen is very unresponsive.

Are you using an aftermarket charger or the one that came with it?? I know that even on the hero and the incredible, some after market chargers will cause this.

Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

Seems like an over reaction to the small percentage of quirks that affect every single phone that has ever been released. You will regret becoming a fanboy lol

Re: Anyone wish they DIDN'T buy an Evo?

My screen is coming up. No doubt when I press it I can see it go into place. I didn't have the grounding problem at first and now I do I'm thinking it has something to do with the screen coming up. Battery life has always been good never been unresponsive.

On top of that I was jerked around about getting a replacement too. They told me to check the website every hour until I saw they had them in stock and then call back and try to get a replacement!

I don't think many have had a worse experience and I am still 100% satisfied. Issues with a new phone are normal no matter who makes them. Sprint customer service has always made me angry and generally requires a half dozen call so nothing new their. But in the end I love love this phone. It's the best thing since sliced bread. I know there are some issues 30 FPS! but that's why we have this forum and others. These issues will be solved sooner than later.
