Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

Where did you find the $150 deductible. I'm looking up all of assurion's paperwork and it shows $100 deductible.

Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

150 when i cracked my screen 3 days into having iy went to sprint and tried to get it fixed and they told me they dont work on evos in the store and would have to replace the phone with a referb (not getting a referb on a brand new phone ps f that which is why i went to my bb insurance) and that its going to be 150 for the deductible i asked why its not 100 like it says in my plan she said its new for the evo

Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

With assurion you can only do 2 claims a year. With the TEP it is unlimited I believe

Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

Where are you guys getting this information from? It should be 3 insurance (Asurion w/ deductible) claims per 12 month period.

Quote:
You can have up to three approved claims for loss, theft, physical or liquid damage within any consecutive 12 months with a maximum replacement value of $1000 per claim.

...and can you please show me where it says the deductible for the EVO os $150.

Wow they're straight out lieing about Sprint insurance. I bet they told you that you pay the deductible for any repair right? Sprint only charges the deductible if you go through Asurion. $4 for Sprint $3 goes to Asurion. Asurion handles any physical damage, water damage theft or loss everything else is covered by Sprint at no deductible. So you could get Sprint only coverage for $4 and have basically extended warranty.

Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

This is good...I think im going to stick with BB if my phone breaks or i get Water damage im not trying to pay 150 to get a refurb sent to me that will break down in a couple of weeks anyways...Happened to me all the time with the TP1 (the damn keyboard not working and on my TP2 the refurbs suck) Ill wait the 2 weeks if anything happens to the EVO an just use my TP2 as my back up phone for the mean time while i wait for my NEW EVO to get sent back to me. I really dont think l'll have a prob with it getting lost or stolen..Never had that prob before (knock on wood) I switched from Verizon an had a Blackberry an the screen cracked went to the store they couldnt fix it... it was 90 bucks going through Asurion to get it fixed FOrgetthat i wont go through that again!
