Re: battery sucks we all know . . . .

I noticed that I was losing significant amounts of battery when my phone was idle. With the help of a few other threads I was able to figure out that a bunch of junk was auto-syncing and I noticed that always on data was draining power as well. I addressed those two issues and I saw a remarkable difference. Now, when my phone is sitting idle, the power graph is a straight line and I don't lose any power.

Re: battery sucks we all know . . . .

Since release day, I have had no complaints about the battery or phone. I haven't used any tweaks or modified any settings. Right out of the box, I have downloaded a ton of apps and widgets from market and use my phone a lot. At least 100 texts a day, 1hr of talk, surf the net total around 15 minutes daily, use my news apps constantly, go on facebook, look at MMS videos and pictures all day. I get at 12-14 hours easy on one charge. My touch pro, which had half the juice this thing puts out was dead in 4 hours doing what I do with this phone and that is with all the registry and battery tweaks applied that are humanly imaginable. I have no advise for those who have issues, because I haven't done anything to make the battery last.

on some reviews for them ppl claim they suck the life out of the battery. i wonder how much of that is true n proven
I've been using Battery Status - Free since November of last year, and from day 1 with my Evo. I can confirm it doesn't suck the life out of the battery.

we'll match that this year when we appear in our 9th.

In other news, I had a great battery day:
