If I want apple gaming and app performance like an iPhone.....I have my 64gb iPad for that. The EVO is a PHONE.....not a gaming device....if you want iphone performance switch to AT&T.

I gotta admit, i did not know about the 30 fps cap till they blew it up on engadget, i only thought the gpu wasnt that hot... still, using this thing is a total delight, love it... as for the games, it would be nice to play nova, modern combat sandstorm, and asphalt 5 full glory but i get by playing super mario rpg full speed using my snes emu, 3d does not equal better, but would be nice though

i am also enjoying mine. OP is making speculations from articles and videos found online so he doesnt see first hand how amazing this phone really is. honestly, i use mine as work phone and its nice not having to soft reset my phone every so often, have a usable internet browser and email client.

the iphone is a decent "gaming phone", but id rather save my money so i can buy a wii or a 360 every few months lol

also, strong user name to topic ratio.

Threads like this is the reason I rarely post over here anymore. You just don't see this shit over at xda. If i want to learn something go to xda, if i want to argue and see people bitch about stuff they can't control (like the $10 fee thread, OMG. There is always going to be something that will be missing from any device. Nothing is perfect and you can't make everyone happy all at the same time but you can atleast try and make most people happy with what you have. What kills me is the fact that everyone wants this like the iphone or that like the iphone. So what if the iphone can handle games better but was it able to handle mms out of the box? What about being able to actually record video? What about being a mass storage device? Wait a minute, no way to tether? I can use bluetooth for voice but I can't use a bluetooth stereo headset for music? Iphone suppose to be a smartphone and it can't copy and paste? YES, I know alot of features have been added or enabled with the iphone 3gs but don't create threads talking about how the evo is crippled when the iphone has probably been more crippled than any other smart phone.
