Of course your phone would have to be plugged in with the screen set to Never Sleep While Charging to be a functional clock.

What's this man-u-al you speak of?

It's a desktop clock feature, one icon for night display, one for day. Granted the difference in screen brightness is minimal but that's all that's going on here.
Even Engadget covered it:
" It also saves you a few bucks on a desktop dock (as long as you're cool plugging in the Micro-USB cable by hand) that's perfect for use as a table clock or radio....."

Re: Evo Tips, Tricks and anything I find useful. Will update. Updated 6/8/10

Uh.....I don't know if this is a tip, trick or anything useful for anyone (it is for me) but I came across a sweet way to record video on the EVO in complete darkness ("DARKNESS BROTHERS......BLACK MAGIC....BIG NOSE HAVIN.....EVIL MUTHA*****")!

To do so go and grab "LED Desire Light" from the market......than once its installed open the program (all the options are on the screen when you start the program) and set the brightness to the max and make sure "Dim screen when light is on" is unchecked! Hit the "on/off" button (or one of the other ones if you wanna get freaky) so the light comes on on your phone..........than hit the home button! You should be on the home screen but the light should still be on!

Now load up the camcorder and start making some Blair Witch movies so we can all get rich or die tryin'!!!!!!!!!

Comments and Flames are welcome!
