Nand Backup? HELP

I have a stock rooted Evo. I used unrevoked 3.21 to root. I want to try a couple custom roms but I want to make a Nand Backup before I flash. What is the best way to make a Nand Backup? Please Help.

Re: Nand Backup? HELP

turn off your phone. press vol down + power to go into 'bootloader' once there pick 'recovery'

after that make a 'backup'

or download rom manager app by clockworkmod and run the app.

more info can be found in other threads.

Re: Nand Backup? HELP

If you could do unrevoked 3.21 as they said you should have no problem.

Re: Nand Backup? HELP

Thanks guys! I was able to make a backup using Rom Manager. One last thing. What exactly does it backup? Does it back up all my apps I downloaded from the market, my contacts, and my settings etc? Thanks.

Re: Nand Backup? HELP

It does not backup contacts or apps you can use Titanium Backup in market or apps. You can use google to sync contacts and restore them after custom rom. Nand backs up android files.
