re: EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe

Ago, does the first post need any updates? There has to be a simple way to root by now.

I am sure your right but all I see is a bunch of little steps. Got to be an all in one out there. I'm on 2.2 stock so it doesn't matter much to me. Just wondering.

Having the custom ROM you want to flash is not required, just makes sense as a matter of convenience.
I would suggest you grab OMJ v1.7 ROM1 as your first flash (Post #2 of his thread I believe) It will bring you up to the 1.47 OS level with all the updated files (more than just Radio and wimax)
***It is in the SAME PC36IMG file format as some of the root files so be sure to rename until you are ready to use it ie OMJPC36IMG.***
After flashing that you will be ready to flash up again to Froyo. You will need updated radio and wimax which is flashed in this order
ROM/radio/wimax

Provided you want Froyo then yes.
You can mix and match radios and wimax but it's generally recommended you keep everything updated to the latest and the greatest.
