Ok that's what I thought. I applied the leaked version. But now I'm thinnking about rooting my phone finally. I really wasn't a fan of custom roms on WINMO but people are saying they are more stable on Android I guess?

need help with full root

hey all i need help trying to do a full root and stuck in the very begning.useing the ROOTING AFTER OTA 1.47.651.1 (Full Root)********
stuck on 5H) Now type (or cut/paste this)

i think your getting that error because the phone isnt being recognized by the computer.do you have htc sync installed on computer?

yeah just put the android sdk folder inside your C: drive. then navigate to the android sdk tool folder but dont open it. just press "shift" and right click on the tools folder. now 'open command window here'

that should get you to where you need to be regarding sdk tools
