I know you also tried Simple root. What error messages did you get with 5S and/or with Simple root?

What step are you on? The only step you type reboot on is 5P and that simply reboots the phone into the system, not bootloader so I'm not sure how you are getting that message? (well I think I know but dont want to guess)
