i've tried that OTA rooting process, and everytime i type "reboot" in the cmd promt and the phone start rebooting it checks that .zip folder i get messege saying "version is older do you want to restart" i know i did it right i've been trying since 11:00 this afternoon and it now 7:17 ;x

a lot of talk of simple root, but what about the latest unrevoked method? I thought that rooted the phone fine for 1.47 update

What step are you on? The only step you type reboot on is 5P and that simply reboots the phone into the system, not bootloader so I'm not sure how you are getting that message? (well I think I know but dont want to guess)
