Re: [TUTORIALS] EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe
It worked for me. But as long as you have a pretty standard looking ROM, I would just not worry about it.

Re: EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe
I bought an Evo from ebay recently, but since I live in Canada, I do not have access to Sprint so I cannot use it. Is it possible to flash it to bell mobility considering bell and sprint share the same CDMA bands or so i was told? how would I go about doing this? thanks

First time root
Because it is my first time and my phone is not rooted I'm assuming I cannot use the free app...Titanium backup . I would have to buy the $6 pro version correct? Is there anyway to backup my data and apps another way. I have been reading for days before attempting my first root and this is the only thing left before I make my decision. Thanks in advance.

Re: First time root
I recently rooted the wife's EVO using Titanium because she wanted Sprint/unused stuff gone. I am by no means an Android expert. Still sticking w/Windows. It was easy and youtube videos to boot! I ended up buying the upgrade because you can "freeze" the bloatware out. I read posts that removing completely would not allow OTA updates because of missing files. Didn't want to hear about it later. Heres a link I used to start off.

Re: First time root

Re: EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe
I've had my Evo for a while now and trying to use my SD card as an extension to the internal phone memory without rooting it. Can it be done? If so, can someone direct me to a simple guide? Thanks in advance...
