EVO won't wipe?

I'm trying to get a fresh flash of Warm TwoPointTwo... but when I run the wipe in the RA Recovery (factory reset) (dalvik cache) 3 times each, there are still downloaded apps showing up on first boot.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You need to use the format all zip file. It will clear everything nicely.

Re: how to unroot htc evo 4 g

flash a stock rom and it should take it out.

If you don't want to do that, then google unroot EVO

or here is the link with instructions.. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...roms-wipe.html

wiping zip

Ok someone told me that there's a zip file that I can flash to wipe my device.

Someone else kindly merged the thread into a cluster f#$k huge "EVERYTHING" thread, so I can't find it anywhere.

Can someone please PM me a link to the zip?
