CONFIRMED: toast (xda) method for root still works after OTA update is installed.

i just tried it myself and what it does is revert back to the .1 firmwire with root access. ive also installed the custom recovery image.
and i am not getting the permission sd thingy error for when im in camera mode like i was before the update. hope this helps. enjoy

I'm unrooted, and I get an error message that it can't download the firmware update. "error code:1012"

Never mind it's not the firmware update it's the HTC software update.

I installed the update and did it like dav1boy said through Toasts method and it went fine.

mine has no issues at all with sd card (i took the sprint one out and put my own in) and i have seen no update notification... I told the girl at best buy not to install the update and watched her very carefully to make sure she didnt. Should I be worried that mine is not asking me to install the update?
