It asked if I wanted to download the new firmware and I denyed it.
Any of you accept it?

you cant root if u accept, xda is saying to avoid the update if u plan to root

This must be something that just happens when you activate a phone, or if you hit the buttons needed to update. Mine hasn't asked me at all about this. Maybe it will if I make a call?

Hey I hate to ask this but is there anyway that you can try and root? This will only help us in the long run. And maybe you wouldnt mind uploading those files as well. Devs are hard at work this morning trying to figure out whats been"pushed" to our phone exactly

Mine asked me...and keeps asking me every so often...I declined of course....also I just got done rooting both of my EVO's...Just FYI

Weird, I just called voicemail to see if my inactivity was causing nothing to prompt me, and still nothing (which I'm glad for). I hope it didn't do it by itself, but there is no notification of such activity in the curtain

bundo did u activate it or did where you got it activate it because maybe they accepted it for you
