Sprint DEFINITELY wasnt expecting this big of a turnout for the first day... their whole system crashed about an hour ago while I was in the sprint corporate store.. they couldnt do ANYTHING. But they got an allotment of 250 evos and sold every single one of them in 6 hours.

I ordered 1 this morning and got one from a corp store too. I'll have mail the online back once I get it. My Danny bill is 900$ lol

I got mine from radioshack. There was some sort of issue where they couldn't access my acount, so it took about 45 minutes waiting on hold. apparently the guy on the other end just got off lunch, and there were 400 other people on hold behind us. but after a while I was finally able to get my EVO. now to find a good case to dress it up in

Side note: while i was in the store I heard one of the guys mention you can get a 10% discount just for having an aim account. not sure if its something everyone but me knows, but just an FYI.

I drove by my local sprint store at 7am and no one was in line so I said hell with it called EVP cancelled my preorder (boy were they upset) and stood in line for an hour. Their computer was extremely slow. Took 45mins to activate it and charge me for the phone. The chik was smoking hot so it was no worries I would have waited longer LOL.. Out of the store by 9am and off to work. Work wasnt too happy with me 2hrs late but who cares LOL.. By 8am there was 30+ people in line and by noon the store had sold out and their computers crashed and have been down since.

Thats my experience.

So I made it to the bestbuy in Va at 6am and is was a long as line(about 300 people) so I left after 2 hours. I went to this ghetto Mall and MD and it was only 5 people in line and they just open. I had not put my phone down since now to type. I go the tether to work. The best phone in the world. F iPhone! The best part about today was me and my boss was in line getting the phone. He told me to take the day off. It was a Personal Holiday..... And free donuts..... What more can you say...... About to pass out... Let me fine a sleep app.. lol

I showed up at 6 am at the Sprint store ... first in line! By 8 am there were 40 people behind me and the store had 55 phones to sell. More people kept flowing in, but I got mine with only slow computers while checking out. Took about 15 minutes. Yea!

So this phone had a bigger launch release like
the iPhone did when it first came out??

The problem is with the system being down they cant even take or process payments.
