OK it took me calling in to Account Services... asked about the $10/month discount, said sure i'll apply that now if you want to extend your contract, YES!

I then asked numerous times if this will affect my upgrade since i am getting the EVO on the 4th, she reassured me that it will not since I have been eligible for the Premier 1yr upgrade thing since Feb 19th of this year. I asked for this in writing and she said she will be emailing me my contract renewal info and will note that I am eligible for upgrade now.

Props to edub186. You just saved me $240 bucks.

talked to someone and then was transfered to account services, then it took her about 20 seconds to do it.

This is awesome, so my contract is what 6 days longer than it would have been if i upgraded on the 4th, I save $240 smackers, and retain upgrade status.

Good stuff.

It is crazy how they all have different answers for the same question. Seems the account services is the only department with the authority to just apply credits without a problem.

If anyone else does it, i'd say just call in. I did the chat thing 3 times and got shot down everytime. The last time is when the dude told me to call that 1-888 number and ask for account services and they could hook it up. He didn't have the authority.

Whoa! I guess god has something better in plan for you. Noooo, don't take a $70 credit, here save $240!

I would have tryed to get the $10/24 month credit, but I already have an discount from the company I work for.

i called and got $10 off each month for 24 months. I have been eligable for an upgrade since Nov 2009

I just went sprint.com to make sure i am still eligible for the upgrade... little paranoid...
