As far as having a keyboard, the supervisor I spoke with to change my eligibility said both HTC and Samsung should be coming out with new 4G phones near the end of the year, both with physical keyboards. I don't know if the will be like the Evo as far as features or screen size.

Yeah, but people that think megapixels are the ball game don't realize the lens is FAR more important. I have an early Kodak digital in the closet, from the late 90's. It cost over $1000 back then, and only has 1 megapixel. But it takes fabulous photos, because it has a large lens, and of good quality. At some point, I think more megapixels just make the crappy lens more apparent lol.

People often only take one factor into consideration, when really it is an equation with 2 or more factors. Those other factors often carry more weight than the one everyone tends to get stuck on. That's why a 50 horsepower tractor can drag a 500 horsepower car all over the place in a tug-of-war. The other factors include torque, weight, traction, and gearing.

In the case of the cameras, other factors include lens size and quality, and the CMOS sensor size and quality, and how naturally it fits the hand for steadiness sake.

Also it's sensor size. Cram eleventy billion megapixels on small sensor, and everything will look like crap. I bought a point and shoot camera, opted for less megapixels and bigger sensor, and photos look better than friend's 14mpixel point and shoot

That is not from an EVO. The youtube description says : This was recorded in 720p HD on a Sony DSC-H20.

lol, u can tell cuz the evo doesnt zoom like that. its obviously a optical zoom.


As for the screen comments. GREAT! Hyper sensitive FTW. And only for bare skin! no more pocket dialing! once your used 2 it, it'll be hard to go back. Everytime sum1 with a hero/pre/iphone/moment/etc handles my TP2, they always flick and swipe and nuthing happens, and i have to tell them, push down on it more. Embarrasing.

But they make special gloves u can use that work with capacitive screens. they have like magnets on the tips.
