Thanks for the review heydjbobby74
We'll see. It's all about software now, as the hardware seems great. I want a working Call Recorder (Android may be able to accomadate it, as can Windows Mobile, but the hardware has to accomadate it too, for it to work), MS Office compatible software (not just for viewing files, it has to edit them too), Phone Tracker, and a few others. Certain ones, if missing, are absolute deal-breakers for me, like Office and call-recording perhaps. If it doesn't meet my needs, it would be a downgrade, like going from a Mogul to the first generation of iPhone would be a downgrade (unless it's about the "toy factor"). For me, it is a business tool.

On the EVO, the lens isn't part of the back either, is it? Like on the TP2, where you can just get a new back.

No, the lens is not part of the backing.

Whether its class 2 or 6, its still a SD card that can hold you down until you get your class 6 when the prices drop even lower or you get a class 16 or 32 or it can just become a backup storage device.

I will be very happy with my class 2 8gb SD card and will be even happier once i put my current class 6 8gb SD card in.

I can also live with TP2 battery life for now.
Akayareal, I totally agree with you about the average person thing, however, to be reading and posting on PPC, is to not BE average!

I only made mention of the SD card because HTC HD2 and Incredible made it a point, and emphasized point, to let people know they were putting 16GB SD Cards in their devices.... Not a big deal as I already have a 16GB card, and plan on getting a 32GB very soon.

I also made a point to mention the sd card UNDERNEATH the battery because, often I do switch out the sd card, and what a pain in the rumpasaurous it is to have to plop out the battery. Can I get an AMEN?????

Anywho, I will be baggy eyed in line first thing in the morning on 6/4, even though my good friends at Sprint are saving me one... =)

Re: WORST Evo 4G review on the internet.

Man...the dude couldn't even figure out how to unlock the thing. Check out his review of some skull candy cans...almost as bad.

I feel bad for Sidney though. She's going to become famous whether she wants it or not.

Thankfully I can't really listen to sound on my computer at work. So all I saw was someone jumping around the screens on an Evo, which I always welcome!

When you start transferring movies and/or music onto it, you'll be annoyed.
