I thought the evo was going to use the same battery as the TP2/Hero. I even made a post about that when the first pictures surfaced of this thing. Now, I just need to wait for seidio to release their extended battery, and order a cover only (I have the 3500 battery for my hero). I can have a uber device, with an uber battery

Re: HTC EVO 4G /Supersonic HANDS ON!!!

So my extra battery will work on my EVO? I have the regular Touch Pro 2 battery and one extra. I was going to try and sell my touch pro 2 but if both batteries can be used on the EVO then I may just not sell it.

ASa for the phone overall I live in a 4G soon to be market where 3G is being destroyed by the heavy aircard users in the area. This is gonna be huge im so glad i have the 9 extra batteries from my TP2 which will work on the EVO.

Estimates put Android apps near the 50K mark. Not sure how many windows mobile apps are out there.

Re: HTC EVO 4G /Supersonic HANDS ON!!!

Yes I am up in August also and was told you can get upgrade early. But he said they can't add it to your account unless it's 2 months in advance and adding it now would be 3 so I need to call back in June I was told. The rep was really nice and gave me his name and direct phone number.

I got my wife upgraded from her Vogue to a Pre a month or two early. Of course, it probably helped that I was also upgrading her SERO contract to one of the new Everything Plus lines at double the price per month. We'll see if it works for my SERO line and the EVO.

Re: HTC EVO 4G /Supersonic HANDS ON!!!

I hope so cause I have the touch pro 2 and one extra generic battery I bought online. I also have this cradle that the phones sits straight up in and it has an extra slot in the back to charge the extra battery so that will be good for me to keep. I was told the Pro 2 is mini usb and that the EVPO is micro so the phone probably won't charge in the cradle but as long as the battery charges that will be cool..
