Re: Trade in a TP2 for credit towards EVO...?

^I feel you. I think I'm keeping my TP2 also. It was practically free (TEP TP replacement) so...

My EVO is pretty much paid for with the $150 in Radio Shack GCs from trading in old '90s phones and TracFones and $10 survey coupon. Only $52 out of pocket w/ tax.

Ahh, spoken like a true noob.. only people that make statements like this are people who have no clue what their doing and just like to wait around for everyone else to do the work for them..

you dont get it, for alot of us bugs, issues, etc make little to no difference.. i for one like discovering new things.. finding new ways to break my phone and finding even more clever ways to fix it again...

could care less if it has some issues anyways... TP1s were 300-579, TP2s 350-600, for alot of people.. this is 199-499.. its hard to pass on the price...

Re: Trade in a TP2 for credit towards EVO...?

Wow, so I got a couple scratches on my TP2 and BB's site estimator says $152...not too bad. Just for kicks, I put in my mint condition TP1 in there and it's $73...awesome.

sum stuff will prolly come back as no trade-in or sumthing like that but you can still recycle option. i mean the vogue was 34 for giftcard an 22 check so going back further might get less or none. but def. try it or you wont know

Not only is everything you said right, but you really have to look at the all the features, the tp2 is great, i love it, but the evo has 2 cams! 8mp on with a flash that actually takes good pics!!! 1ghz processor, which mean it's effing fast and it can actually do many things without gettin freezing..lastly the HDMI video out port, gosh even at retail it's cheaper than wut the tp2 was... this is worth it if you have the cash or upgrades...stop trolling hun, and on to subject, you could probably make more money on CL, but I'll try both

This is a running gag I have with BB down here. Its the only store that goes out of their way to not help you...lol. It's ok since I don't really need them anyhow for most purchases (I already have researched the item in question). I've walked around the store for long periods of time with not so much as an acknowledgment from staff. And a few times I saw that they seen me and went a different way, although they do have plenty of time to talk to one another.

Just wanted to chime in your not alone....

It's okay since some of them are devoid of common sense and intellect, and I hate talking to those types of people.

Re: Ebay Baby!!

I, too, am getting the EVO4G.

I have only had my TP2 since Sept. 09.. In like new condition, and had the Clear Protector screen protector on it since new, and always in the Sedio case.. No scratches.

I put it on ebay last night at 9:30, .. saying it had no scratches, protector installed and case, box, etc.. near mint (which it was).. buy it no $190.00 with 10 to ship.

Sold in 1 hour!!!!

Now going to ship it, I already turned on my old Mogul, and going to the Shack to pre-order my EVO!!!!

Radio shack only give 92bux on a great condition TP2 on trade in..
