This is NOT an apple to apple comparison. They all different. I have used all 4 of them and out of the 4, only Sprint drops call in my room. Only Sprint has no services when stepped into a restaurant.

Luckily I can force roaming in these situations or I have dropped them in a long time.

I'm sorry but T-Mobile is just garbage to me. Everytime I go to the mall the T-mobile reps harass me trying to get me to talk to them so they can convince me to switch to their service. There are 4 T-mobile stands, 2 Sprint and 2 Verizon and one At&T in this mall. I never get harassed at any other stand except when I walk past a T-mobile one. If their service is so good why do they have to beg people to join them? Also I dated to females in the past who had t-mobile and their phones would drop calls while they were at home (not even in the basement), to me that's just unacceptable.

This $10 extra charge conversation is just ridiculous, it's $10 dollars who cares. It's not about 4G and even is it was it would kinda difficult to only apply the charge to the people who currently have 4G in their area. But for arguments sake lets say it is for the 4G. I live in Milwaukee but I go to Chicago a lot. I get the EVO and they don't charge me the $10 cuz I live in Milwaukee and 4G isn't here yet but hey I'm in Chicago more than I'm home in Milwaukee and I use the 4G while I'm there but I'm still not paying the $10. Who's getting ripped off now? Sprint would be because I'm using the 4G but not paying for it. So to stop that from happening they charge everyone $10.

I live in So Cal and drove to Vegas last weekend. I got solid EVDO almost the entire road trip on my PRe and my Tmobile phone was getting Edge and at times Gprs as soon as I left So Cal.

Once I hit Vegas, I got 3g on my Nexus one and the speeds was amazing but 3g coverage was really spotty. I was getting Edge and at times no service. I did a few speed test on my Nexus One and damn it was fast at 2am and throughout the day, but to be honest, I'd rather have solid Sprint EVDO than spotty and fast 3g any day. I was averaging 1 to 1.5 mbps on my Pre and around 1-4 mpbs on T-mobile.

Seems a lot of chicks have Tmo. I think it has to do with their company color, pink. And one of the reasons I can't stand it, cause I'm a guy LOL.

So, I went to the local Radio Shack, rep who said she worked for Sprint answered a bunch of questions:

When will 4G be available in NY? Not until next year.
IF I sign up with them at the $69 plan can I go online to the new SERO site and get the other plan with my EVO? Yes.
What comes in the box? On this another rep said that T-Mobile gives a rubberized case with their phones but not sure what Sprint is doing yet. So far as the first rep knew, phone, charger, USB cable (probably meant wall charger)
Other than that, not much I haven't heard already.

So, IF 4G isn't available until January next year (maybe), I think I'll wait and let the bugs, ROM versiosn, etc., and prices all shake out.

To correct you it is not PINK it is Magenta

I personally don't mind the additional $10 fee. I've been on sero with 4 lines for years paying $30/mo each. I switched over to the everything plus family employee plan and pay just $5 more per line. Sprint has been saving me money for years so $10 won't kill me. It also helps that raleigh, NC is a full 4G area Also, If I remember correctly, someone from sprint said that the $10 charge is not for 4g, it's what you have to pay for having the best phone in America.
