Re: dan@sprint.com response I got
We all know that's what the phone at work is for. You can order pizza on the web.

I know you can order Dominos, Pizza Hut, and all the other crappy places on the web (and you can even text in your order too), but all the best places don't work like that.

Re: dan@sprint.com response I got
$10 isnt for 4g. It works like this. We have a superior product but we dont have the capabilities to give that product to all of our customers yet. So we will charge a premium to keep the numbers down until the we have the power to mantain a reliable 4g line to all customers. And by that time it will just cost 25$ for internet regardless or whatever it cost now plus $10.
I mean maybe I am wrong but that sounds like basic economics to me. Its obvious sprints 4g isnt exactly large right now heck its only available in some area's. Its not a pay to play tax its a pay if you want it tax. Regardless its something you will either pay because you dont argue with sprint or something you will get out of because you either didnt get the phone or a sprint rep got a cookie that day and decided you didnt need to pay it. |

Re: dan@sprint.com response I got
Please stop with the "I'm using just as much bandwidth on my TP2" if you buy a sports car(EVO) you will not drive it the same way you do a sedan(TP2) and if you don't NEED a sports car and don't want to pay extra for the premium gas then stick with the accord! Also your behavior changes as the capabilities of the phone change. when I had a dumb phone i didn't surf the net at all now i do it a lot! when you take pictures worth taking you'll be sharing them more. the EVO will change the way you use your phone. and invariably increase your bandwidth consumption.

The TP2 is not a Sedan. It's last year's model sports car, made by the same company. It has a big screen (not as big as the Evo, but still bigger than most other smartphones and has the same screen resolution as the Evo), good web browsers, TV out, and a decent camera. Is it as nice as the Evo? No. But that's because it's older, not because it isn't a data centric device. It's like getting last year's top notch car and comparing it to this year's. I have no doubt that I will use the same amount of data on the Evo as I do on the TP2 (until I get 4G in my area, that is). |

I agree that the Evo is this year's sports car, no question. But when the TP2 came out last year, it was a sports car, not a sedan. |
