T-Mobile used to have a cap and has since lifted theirs..

Well Im getting my info from Sprint not other website and they DONT LIMIT DATA ON YOUR phone. Limit definition is: as far as something can go. They do not stop coverage because you go over 5 gig. They dont even charge you like they do with the cards. All they says is that they reserve the right...lol

I'll post it again right from my agreement. becouse I think we are both kinda saying the same thing its just a little different...

Effective July 13, 2008. Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred; and to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend service if usage either exceeds (a.) 5 GB/month in total or (b.) 300MB/month while off-network roaming.

Lets call it lets say, limited unlimited data usage.

Re: Data Cap with Mobile Hot Spot

Maybe I can help. I DO work for Sprint. The 5GB cap is enforced on AIRCARDS ONLY and 3G ONLY. The cap does not prevent you from using over 5 gigs, but WILL charge you for overages. (It is actually capped at about 5.2 gigs) The EVO will support up to 8 devices at once and will NOT have a cap on the 3G or 4G use for the phone OR the hotspot service.

EDIT: (Of course, the hotspot does cost the $29.99 extra)
