Well first can you give us your interpretation of

"It’s like standard def versus high def, but with that analogy, you paid more for the better service. With 4G, we’re giving you more for free."

Re: Use The Evo 4G With Your Existing Data Plan

Well, its sounds like everyone else interpreted it wrong! Never in any of those statements did he say there would be no charge to use 4G!

If so than I ask again if someone can point me in that direction!

As stated first you have to give your interpretation of that sentence..for all we know "Hello" to you means "OH MY GOD THEY ARE OUT TO KILL ME RUN!!!"..so how do you interpret the sentence above?

Not trying to be disrespectful or anything but please look up the definition of the word "analogy!"

He quotes "you paid more for better service." That would be clue #1 for me.........than he quotes "with that analogy".........so in a way I see him comparing the 2...even though he is comparing buying an HDTV to $10 a month more for 4G......which isn't labeled as "4G" but a "Premium Data Package!"..........but still nothing on him saying there wouldn't be an extra charge for it......which I still wanna see!

Than he states "because we can produce a gigabyte cheaper, we can offer more to the customer.".............and again....still nothing to the nature of what everyone THOUGH he said.......or what people misinterpreted!

Still looking for that statement too......by the way!

I don't know what you're saying, you're trying to be sly and sneaky just like sprint with the precise wording. It says with 4g we are giving you more for free. So explain to me what more we are getting and what is free? The only more we're getting is 4g, and that obviously isn't free, at least with the evo. With data cards they are free. That is where everyone is confused. Since he didn't specifically state data cards, we thought the savings would roll over to 4g phones as well.

Ok I see now what you are missing..

"It’s like standard def versus high def" is the analogy

" but with that analogy, you paid more for the better service" this shows that that analogy is not 100% accurate

"With 4G, we’re giving you more for free." is the correction to the "but" of the analogy.

And yes he didn't say "Premium Data Package!" will be free with a plan but he clearly said 4G will be.
