Got the email as well and I'm on the list for two, but I wonder what their pricing is going to be, mail in rebate or not. If I have to deal with a MIR, I'll just preorder em' from Best Buy...

All I know is, Premier combined with EVP equals discounts every year and 28% off my cell phone bill!! Woohooo... Anyway... Yeah I even hooked up a buddy of mine with an email address with us so he can get the discount through the company I work for... (( saved him 80 bucks a month!! Nextel ))

For those who dont know, EVP is the employee value program, which discounts large companies to help influence which provider you pick... I get 30% off Verizon plans, 25% off all accesories, Sprint gives me 28% and 25%... or 27% i forget... More important I have received a lot of EVO information in the past few weeks... gotta love the program... just thought Id share with everyone... get the fire started...

Plus I had read that it got postponed again... so I thought this would debunk that rumor since it says it comes out next month... Thats the key part I noticed... June it is!!

I called the number and got put on the list too just for the heck of it. Casue when I got to Sprint to be notified it doesn't work some window pops up and you can't put in your email..

Oh wow, thanks for the EVP info yall. Apparently my company participates in the EVP program too! Hopefully that'll be a nice chuck off my $99/mo Everything plan (which totals out to about $126/mo with taxes and whatnot). And I just called them and asked to be added to the EVO pre-order list, and they guy just emailed this message:

Hello everyone!!!

Wow…tons of responses for the HTC EVO 4G…and I can see why. This phone is going to be an incredible device which is why I will be getting one as well. There has been no official release date given, however my best guess would be in early June. That is when our new pricing rolls out (June 6 to be exact) and my HTC contact said his demo was mailed to him weeks ago.

As far as the pricing, it’s a wild guess. HTC devices have a wide range of pricing so it’s hard to guess a price here. As soon as we get an official price on it, we will get the pre-order listed on the EVP site. I will definitely email you again once that is up.

**If you are wanting to check upgrade eligibility, let me know the line(s) you want to upgrade I can check for you. I can also see if your Sprint Nextel account is eligible to add additional lines. If you are currently with another carrier, we can get your new Sprint account setup once the pre-order page is up and running.

I am in Nashville, which doesn’t have 4G yet, but this will not stop me from getting it…Sprint is getting better and more efficient at rolling out new 4G markets so I don’t think it will be long. The attached document has a list of all the active 4G cities and the ones that will be launching soon….there are about 5 more cities added from a few weeks ago.
