There is limited storage, true. But it is about the same as the limitations of the ROM size on a CDMA phone anyway.

SIM cards can hold hundreds of contacts.

I'm not saying a SIM card is the end all be all or anything, I'm just saying it's way more simple and convienent than not having one.

Plus, you don't have to worry about someone telling you that your plan isn't compatible

O rly? My g1 wasn't compatible with the Tmo plan I had

And you can store your contacts on your SIM if you want so they are already on your new phone.

There's a million options here. PIM files, SPB, My phone, google sync, Outlook.
also popping a sim out and popping it in another phone is alot easier then hoping you have internet access in front of you, also waiting for your computer to boot up, then waiting for the phone to provision, changing sims is far easier imo.

yeah its ok, sprint and cdma do have the fact that if you do ever travel outside of your home network you will for sure have a signal, with tmobile that is not always a fact. I know without a shadow of a doubt every where i go with my sprint phone i will be able to make a call. So all in all they both have advantages and disadvantages.

Re: Evo a World Phone?

Sims cards are cool and all until you get an IPhone and then it totally defeats the purpose. Go to Afghanistan and try to "switch" a sim here. Good luck. haha.
