As for a future TP2 with better specs that would be awesome..but if HTC tries to copy something..they better not make their keyboards like the droid lol But by the looks of it Motorola and Samsung are releasing a bunch of phones...Whats taking LG so long :/

but it doesn't mean both would sell well, people will probably get the non keyboard one just cuz they want to be like iphone users, and people like us, who are avid fone fans will get a keyboard version...plu sit helps if you already own a TP2 lol

with more and more advances of touchscreen you will see less and less hardware keyboard. except for bb failed attempt at the tactile feedback keyboard on the storm series. i can type just as fast on a software keyboard than i could on my hardware i just have to look at the thing now.

Re: one design problem with the evo
Well again, I'll just point out that the Motorola Droid totally destroyed the HTC Droid Eris in sales numbers. So a lot of people obviously want a keyboard. HTC keeps trying to pretend nobody wants one, and some people actually believe it. But the Motorola Droid sales numbers when compared to the Droid Eris- which is actually cheaper and has similar functionality, prove otherwise.

There is also the fact that your viewing area doesn't shrink when you type something if you have a real keyboard. And the whole typing without looking thing too. |

Also, there was no ad campaign for the Eris. Verizon did some generic advertising on their ads, but didn't mention what the phone could do. Marketing rules everything.
