not really true i used to be a keyboard fanatic like u guys but i got used to the fact of not having an almost 1" thick brick in my pocket.
with more and more advances of touchscreen you will see less and less hardware keyboard. except for bb failed attempt at the tactile feedback keyboard on the storm series. i can type just as fast on a software keyboard than i could on my hardware i just have to look at the thing now.
