Heh, yeah really, I got a charger with 3 batteries for $12 shipped on ebay, can't really beat that! Although I'll probably have to wait a couple weeks till it arrives, couldn't find any sellers outside of Hong Kong

lol, I hope better than ebay...I've had bad experiences with buying spare rechargable batteries from the hong kong sellers there. Maybe they just have bad luck with xbox..but I ordered two or three different ones that never lasted me more than a few weeks. And yea also the issue of having to wait several weeks for them then no hope of really being able to do any kind of return lol.

Hehe I recognized you right away. Somehow or another the photo here is the same as my contact photo for you. You must have used it as your FB profile pic at sometime lol. Anyway, I just checked out the ballistic cases, I was more so thinking either otter box or seidio (probably seidio). Really basing my decision right now on the three companies' cases for the Evo 4G but I am still thinking Seidio. But that could probably change once I see the actual E3D case designs etc.

True, I've had generics too that sucked. And the bad thing is they can make HTC batteries that look real, but they aren't and they don't last long. I had bought what was advertised as an HTC battery, and I got it and the only thing different from the old real one was a symbol printed on the back that was missing on the generic. And then after having the generic in my pocket for a week, the sticker on the outside started to wear off, the real HTC never wore off nearly a year later. And then after a few weeks the generic would only hold about half a charge. The only thing is the 3D is so new I don't see a source for real HTC replacements yet, and I figure for $12 the charger alone is worth that (it's a charger that you can charge the battery without it being in the phone).

i got my tp2 back in october 09 and i loved it and the keyboard do come in handy, but i did try to wait to see what the WM7 was about and the arrive was a piece of crap , i waited almost 2 years to get a new phone which was either me getting the echo or the evo 3D but with all android phones u can speak your text and i choose the evo 3. also if your worried about battery their is an app called juice defender that will help save your battery life like 40%

I had the same question about turning off the 3D when I was considering switching from my old TP2. And I was surprised to learn that the 3D is only for pictures and video and those have the hardware switch from 2D to 3D. So the rest of Sense and Android is 2D. So your eyes won't go crazy and you can still enjoy the dual core and extra ram.

I do miss my TP2 keyboard but love the speed and also love the fact that Android is a supported OS unlike WinMo.

Re: Anyone else waiting for a detailed review before buying?

Also, I found out that the Evo & Evo3D dont have same size screens.
The 3D screen is about 1/8inch thinner, yet also 1/8inch taller, so I guess it still adds up same size diagnolly, but feels much better in my hand.
May not sound like much, but result is a big difference..
