Yeah, they are already picking it apart. I found that it adds the IQAgent apk that wasn't in the ROM before. I have removed that apk from all the ROMs I've run since my days with the Hero. I just prefer not to have carrier "spyware" running in the background watching my every move.

if you have s-off and are currently rooted, u can flash these modified custom OTA ROMs.....just dont flash the official OTA

Don't know if anyone has asked this but what I'm wondering is, how long before revolution comes out with 1 click root? Especially for today's ota update which I now alpha rev tweeted not to update too if you weren't rooted yet. I hope its soon. Haven't made the jump yet and I'm looking forward to using OMJ again.

3 action root to hard? S-off enter serial install Su done...lol omni hotspot and 3D home are borked for me when cooking mine.no luck 4 you 2?

good point...I'll add to OP

if you flash ANY 2.08 ROM you should update the firmware, just make sure it's the modified version w/o the new hboot

PG86IMG_2.08.651.2_firmware_nohboot.zip

rename to PG86IMG.zip, flash from bootloader
